A Data Scientist collects domain context from stakeholders, defines hypothesis and prediction tasks, identifies and creates supporting data sources, conducts experiments with various algorithms to model prediction tasks, undertakes validation and tests of models to improve performance, produces pipelines that can be used to automate training and predictions with unseen or production data, identifies meaningful insights from data sources, and contextualizes model outputs to communicate with stakeholders (product owners, process managers, and end consumers).

Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree, demonstrating, in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader managing the development and utilization of technology:
- Understanding and experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, map gateways & administrate Power BI Service, permissions, workspaces. Experienced in embedded Power BI;
- Integrating new technologies proactively for more advanced analytics including Powerflow, PowerApps;
- Speaking to PBI current capabilities and responding to design feasibility questions, quickly turning out proof of concepts where custom work is needed;
- Connecting to external API's through Power BI to access/integrate with external systems (i.e. Power BI REST APIs)
- Understanding of Data Modeling , Data Warehousing,Data Nuances and ETL concepts and proactively contribute for the overall design;
- Handling large data sets and be able to confidently process them as per requirements;
- Overseeing Quality check and review the outputs against quality standards and continually look for Performance improvements;
- Designing visualizations as per business requirements and knowledge on User interface and User experience;
- Contributing to and executing against a Power BI design template;
- Having hands on experience with complex DAX expressions. DAX training; and
- Providing technical input and effective data analysis to support the requirements and development.
