Job Description & Summary

Our Human Resources Information Systems team provides human resource technology support to PwC. As part of the team, you’ll help design, implement, and operate Human Resources technology application that help us develop insights and strategies for our people and to drive business results.

People Operations delivers transactional and strategic support across the entire human capital lifecycle. We are trusted advisors who deliver innovative and scalable human capital solutions. The team consists of 8 enablement teams primarily based in Tampa, FL. The People Technology Team manages strategic projects and provides operational support for 25+ US & Mexico Human Capital systems, including technology implementation, optimization, data integrity and security.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:

  • Understanding of Human Capital (HC) and Recruitment processes and procedures, specifically in the areas of Talent Acquisition and/or Third Party Labor;
  • Understanding how HC systems and future enhancements support both the Firm’s and HC’s strategic priorities;
  • Being an iterative thinker with demonstrated experience working on teams who are solving problems with creativity while utilizing both positive and negative testing skills;
  • Demonstrating experience aggregating various, often unrelated data points or data sets to determine root cause or to design processes that benefit multiple stakeholders or impact multiple systems cohesively;
  • Owning the relationship between the business users, the SaaS software vendors, and Information Technology (IT), while supporting the integration, enhancement and implementation of new systems;
  • Identifying opportunities for process refinement or recreation and supporting effective brainstorming while managing creative problem solvers;
  • Presenting information and insight to team leaders and to Stakeholders in both written and spoken methods of communication;
  • Creating & maintaining accurate documentation of business processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) & Quick Reference Cards (QRCs); 
  • Possessing experience monitoring or building integrations between Workday and other vendor SaaS systems; working knowledge of Yello, Phenom, & Beeline preferred;
  • Managing the implementation of new HC technologies while also considering the impact on existing systems to provide a cohesive end-user experience;
  • Understanding and keeping current with the external HC technologies, as well as subject matter specialization on existing HC technology tools; 
  • Understanding business problems in the form of functional and technical requirements;
  • Developing, communicating and overseeing implementation of action plans;
  • Leveraging project management tools and methodologies as well as auditing skills to test completeness or find errors and/or analyzing complex data sets preferably utilizing Alteryx or a similar technology;
  • Working knowledge in technologies such as Alteryx, Google scripting, UI Path, and data visualization tools;
  • Managing the workload of the team to allow for a balanced capacity across the group to accomplish project and critical work successfully;
  • Working independently and team in delivery of day-to-day operation;
  • Demonstrating some leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor others;
  • Leading and developing teams in a wide variety of areas including teaming, interpersonal skills, communication and business knowledge;
  • Possessing self-motivation and contributing individually as well as part of the human capital and shared services leadership team; and,
  • Sharing and collaborating within the People Technology team, keeping peers & leadership informed of issues & progress, as well as escalating problems to Pillar leadership.
