Tasks
As the Finance Specialist , you will perform the following duties:
- Support with preparation, audit, submission and publishing of financial statements in accordance with local legal regulations and coordinate with accountants, auditors and internal stakeholders
- Follow up of changes in local regulations and coordinate with the responsible finance colleagues in order to keep country specification up to date
- Coordinate with tax consultants and advise responsible finance colleagues regarding the changes in taxation laws and compliances, etc. and follow up on tax refunds and legal cases concerning taxation
- Ensure compliance with all local banking regulations including Embargo Management for one or several countries of the region
* All other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:
- Master's degree in degree in Accounting, Business Administration, etc. and at least 2 years of work experience. Alternatively, University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, etc. and 5 years of work experience
- Vocational Training in Accounting, Business Administration, etc. and at least 7 years of work experience. Alternatively, A-level/High School Diploma and 10 years of work experience
- 9 years of work experience with university degree in Accounting, Business Administration, etc.
- Alternatively, 12 years of work experience with A-level/High School Diploma / completed commercial training
- English language desirable
- Solid knowledge on fiscal law
- Knowledge of local Tax compliance and regulatory regulations
- Must possess a legal work permit in Mexico
