Accounts Payable Sr. Specialist

Location: Hybrid. CDMX
About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the complete end-to-end P2P related processes and controls for assigned countries.
Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage day-to-day activities and coordination with the team and stakeholders
• Ensures proper and timely document management (e.g., reception, validation, and processing of invoices/Credit Notes and etc…)
• Timely resolution of unprocessed/unposted/blocked/unpaid items to enable their inclusion in the payment run
• Provides timely assistance and customer-oriented support for incoming queries and issues from Novartis stakeholders and vendors
• Interacts proactively with all necessary functional areas of the NOCC to ensure appropriate accounting, financial practices, and reporting, particularly during Month End Close
• Promotes, supports, and engages in Continuous Improvement and Harmonization with aim on best practices and efficiency increase

• University degree – Preferably Finance/Accounting
• Experience in Accounting/Finance: 2 to 3 years
• Fluent level of English (written and spoken)
• Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point
• Experience with SAP, or comparable systems, preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
