The company operates 168 production locations in 32 countries.We are looking to hire an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our Shared Services team in Monterrey:Responsibilities
- Supervise AP team to post invoices in a timely manner
- Ensure AP team has balanced its level of work to speed the process
- Lead and Supervise the Disbursement/Payment process to identify, define, implement and leverage common Accounts Payable reports and processes
- Ensure that AP staff completes the correct application of cash paid in a timely manner to maintain the vendor accounts/balances updated.
- Coordinate the staff to resolve and follow up of Vendor Query Resolution, Payments Risk Reports, Manual Invoicing or re-invoicing, Month End Close, Internal Controls review, and internal/external audits.
- Lead and Monitor the clearing and analysis of discrepancies and charges needed to be applied to the vendors in payments made.
- Ability to proactively identify and propose payment process improvements
- Create and Monitor process indicators to avoid potential vendor payment issues
- Ensure that AP team provides excellent customer service to third party vendors and our ZF Mexican operating units
- Supervise that all reporting’s deadlines are achieved and Corporate accounting policies and practices adhered to.
- Accounting or Administration degree Preferred
- The ideal candidate with 3-5 years Accounts Payable experience as Supervisor
- Have strong computer, analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills. Candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Experience to interact with Corporate Management levels
- Maintain a focus on continuous process improvement and excellent customer service in a demanding work environment. Very Good computer skills using MS Office and SAP.
- MX and US tax regulations knowledge, including Mexican e-invoicing procedure (CFDI’s)
- Bilingual English/Spanish 80-95%
- The successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards and maintain a focus on continuous process improvement and excellent customer service in a demanding work environment.
