ACCO Brands, one of the world's largest suppliers of branded school, office, and consumer products, is seeking a Channel Marketing Associate for our Central America/Caribbean business. This position reports to the Marketing Manager, Central America/Caribbean. The position also provides daily contact and support to the Central America/Caribbean Sales Manager.

The Channel Marketing Associate works closely with our US and Mexico based Marketing, Sales, Operations and Finance teams supporting our growing business in Latin America with primary focus on Central America /Caribbean. This individual will also interface with marketing teams in, Chile and Brazil. Periodic engagement with ACCO teams Europe will also be required. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Leads Digital Marketing, social media and Ecommerce efforts for Central America/Caribbean customers. 

Provides images, video's, spec sheets, merchandising, product substitutions and other product support materials upon request.

Assist the sales team with marketing, promotional and event support with key customers to increase sales.

Provide Marketing support to our Central America/Caribbean sales and customer service teams. This can include but not limited to preparing for and attending customer sales calls, following up on resulting action items, assist on system integrity issues as needed.

Actively stays abreast of and communicates to all Latin America markets of new product launches originating from the US Marketing, European Marketing and Global Products teams by providing product line plans, presentations, product samples, product costs and product specification information

Product management with Mexico team on specific projects for Central America/Caribbean to include collaboration with purchasing, marketing, item set ups, SAP extensions, and other logistical data that is needed.

Work with the Mexico marketing team on yearly sku rationalization to assess the impact of discontinued products to our Central America/Caribbean customers.

Assists with profit and loss analysis for various new product launches and sales programs

Assists the Marketing Manager with analysis of product performance providing recommendations of new items, discontinued products and categories. 

Assists the Marketing Manager with yearly pricing analysis.

Assist the Marketing Manager and Sr. Director of International Marketing and Marketing Manager on special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Bilingual Spanish/English required.

Experience in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. SAP background preferred.

Strategic reasoning and critical thinking

Must have the ability to work cross functionally.

Must have demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills – must be comfortable presenting to internal and external customers.

Ability to work with GDW reporting system, market research and other analytical data to determine market and product strategies.

Must possess ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline driven environment.

Strong analytical skills and must be detail oriented and self-motivated.

Strong project management skills.

Entrepreneurial spirit.

Experience with-in person customer visits and communications preferred.

Some exposure or experience with export business preferred.

Must be willing to travel. This will be approximately 20% and will include international travel.
