Your team responsibilities

The Analytics Production Services team is part of Data Services and Technology (DST) department. The team's goal is centered on providing high quality derived risk model and exceptional service to MSCI clients. The team works on data projects related to all aspects of factor model production across all asset classes including equities, fixed income, and alternates. In this role, candidate will work closely with different functions spread across the globe to ensure successful delivery of such projects. The candidate will be asked to define and drive end-to-end solutions ranging from model production to product usage. The team is currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the team of data analysts for our Monterrey office.

Your key responsibilities

· Solve complex problems within all aspects of market data production, including data sourcing, processing, loading, and analysis.

· Lead data projects independently to extend capabilities and coverage. Creating business specifications and working with cross functional teams on execution.

· Collaborate across a global organization to service our applications as well as internal and external clients.

· Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with emphasis on quality, accuracy and timeliness.

· Partner with Product Management in delivering the best-in-class service to our clients relating to content.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or similar.

· Experience in querying relational databases (Oracle or MS SQL) and Python a plus.

· Understanding of financial markets, equity, fixed income and multi-asset instruments.

· Ability to communicate and work effectively in a result oriented, team-driven organization.

· Strong attention to detail. Ability to solve complex problems.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight, short-term deadlines.

· Commitment to improving the business and customer experience.
