About the role

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain cloud services, particularly databases, on the AWS cloud platform.
- Build and manage pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, Chef, and other automation build tools.
- Utilize code repositories such as Bitbucket.
- Demonstrate excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, Ruby, Groovy, and JSON.
- Lead the development of multiple pipelines, from requirement gathering to development, testing, dry run, and hand off to platform support teams.
- Clearly define dependencies to ensure the timely delivery of required features.
- Collaborate with engineering and architect teams.
- Communicate effectively and handle multiple sprints using JIRA tools.
- Create comprehensive documentation and possess strong communication skills.
- Provide regular updates and escalate issues to ensure work progress.
- Possess a good understanding of CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM roles/policies, CloudFormation templates (CFTs), AWS Lambda, etc.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have a solid understanding of network concepts, protocols, and security concepts.

- Overall experience of 12+ years, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer.
- Proficient to expert working experience with the AWS cloud platform in implementing cloud services, particularly databases.
- Excellent programming experience in languages such as Python, Ruby, Groovy, and JSON.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of network concepts, protocols, and security concepts.
- Timely updates and escalations to ensure work progress.
- Fluent English
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering and architect teams.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Experience in handling multiple sprints using JIRA tools.
