Job in a nutshell:
If you are looking for a role focused on a great detail orientation and organization, this opportunity is for you! We’re looking for an IT Asset Manager that will be responsible to assist in the execution of Asset Lifecycle Management. This position will maintain accurate records of all infrastructure IT assets in addition to being responsible for lease contract management.
What will you be doing:
- End to end tracking of Software (procurement to disposal) and management of the IT asset database.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data from multiple sources.
- Complete internal audits of asset records to ensure accuracy (status, location, etc.)
- Implement and maintain Asset Management policies and procedures.
- Building and maintaining client relationships.
- Should be able to apply basic finance and accounting principles to daily tasks.
- Back up for Account Payable, ensure that invoices received match contracts from vendors.
- Regularly communicates with internal personnel verbally and via email.
- Daily monitoring and execution of Asset Management processes and procedures to ensure accurate tracking of the IT hardware asset environment.
Requirements:
- College degree in Business Information System or related degree.
- +3 years of experience in Asset Management processes.
- Extreme detail oriented in all aspects of work.
- Ability to understand and interpret KPIs, SLAs and other IT service performance metrics as related to Asset Life Cycle Management and perform within the contract requirements.
- Expert level use of Excel in working with multiple large data sources to combine for use in problem resolution.
- Versatility, flexibility, and processing of information quickly. Able to manage several tasks simultaneously.
- Strong bilingual skills (English) in both written and verbal communications.
- Knowledge of current IT infrastructure hardware (understand chassis vs component, by model understand asset categorization).
