We are looking for an Associate Creative Director who'll be responsible for creating and working with content pillars and interesting social media approaches for always-on channels, not just campaigns, for Regional and Global clients. You will be responsible for ideating editorial approaches, producing social content, and coming up with posts about brand topics, in a mix of tentpole, episodic and different types of content, with different levels of budget, complexity and timelines. You need to be fluent in conceptualizing and collaborating, and have mastered the art of writing in multiple styles for various social platforms and will also play an integral day-to-day role as the guardian of all social channel activity and consumer engagement.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the quality of social copywriting and design deliverables, ensuring they meet our standards and client brand guidelines
  • Concept and collaborate with wider creative and social teams, including connections, social strategists and analysts
  • Write or design compelling social copy, headlines calls to action
  • Work with Client Service and Strategists to ensure creative concepts and copy tones are on brand and strategically sound
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure assets are delivered on deadline, and that the editorial calendar is managed and updated
  • Collaborate with international creative teams in regional and global pitches.
  • Identify and foster UGC and potential brand partnerships that fit with the brand’s visual style and personality, and work closely with the creative team to expand on these opportunities
  • Monitor, track and report on positive and negative feedback and comments, escalating any incidents through the identification process for social media crisis-level events
  • Present copy and concepts to clients and their ideas are fresh, strategic and always on brand.
  • Grow the editorial team by delivering high-quality work that makes clients want for more and bigger editorial input from MediaMonks

Requirements

  • For this lead position, we’re looking for an Associate Creative Director with 7 - 10 years of professional experience, with 2+ years of high-level experience, leading creative teams in an advertising or production agency setting.
  • While we are looking for a candidate with strong roots in art direction, our ideal unicorn candidate also has a strong background and eye for animation and copy.
  • You’re able to present a portfolio of praise-worthy projects, showcasing your understanding of innovative tech trends, PR-able ideas, and campaigns.
  • You can successfully ideate and pitch your ideas in a digestible, understandable format.
  • As part of a constructive feedback loop, you can give and handle criticism without making or taking it personally, eagerly going the extra mile if that’s what it takes to make good great.
  • You are humble enough to always listen and learn from clients and teammates.
  • You know how to empower and lead without a show of force, giving our in-house teams a clear creative direction and ownership over their projects.
  • As part of a global company operating as one team across time zones, you can successfully collaborate at a distance.
  • You know how to maintain a positive vibe and inspire people to get things done, wherever they are in the world.
