Associate Project Engineer – Robotics and Automation

Working in the Robotics and Automation Business Area in Mexico, you will be Leading the execution of Automotive and Consumer Segment and General Industries Robotics (CSSR) projects, ensuring that they are executed in line with procedures, specifications, standards requirements, and targets. In this role you will drive the formal acceptance of the project by the customer, maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.

Your responsibilities

• Leading the Project Controls department to define all project documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, resources and financials.
• Identifying, and managing risks, while ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Coordinating with the Procurement and Logistics team to procure required services, materials and equipment.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a contact point for customer enquiries and an escalation point for project issues.

Your background

• 2+ year of experience working in Projects, acting as Project/Site manager, Project/Site leader, etc.
• A previous experience in the Automotive industry is a value add.
• Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience working with MS Project is a plus.
• Availability of travel is a must. Valid visa and passport is desirable.
• Fluent English is a must.
