The Role
We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor who will be responsible for performing individual internal audit projects, as part of the total internal audit plan, including developing internal audit scope, performing procedures and preparing reports reflecting the results of the work performed.
What will I be doing?
- Planning, announcement and requirement definition for Kick off audit review processes.
- Risk identification: follow up and understanding of new developments and changes of the company (new products)
- Analyze processes and controls, and perform tests to verify the adequacy of the control
- Execution of the tests designed in the planning stage, in order to test control implemented.
- Documentation of the tests, results, and corresponding evidence of the audit.
- Preparation and review of preliminary observations, for subsequent discussion with management.
- Audit report generation, to be discussed and agreed with the administration
- Monthly monitoring of business results.
- Follow-up administration of own observations and those of third parties (risks, external auditors, regulators).
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree in, Finance, Economics or Accounting
- 3-5 years of internal or external Audit experience.
- Prior industry experience is a plus. (Financial Services, Fintech, Banking, Insurance, Venture Capital, etc.)
- Understand internal control concepts and have experience on its application to plan, perform, manage and report on audit/evaluation of various business processes/areas/functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, to present to peers and management.
- Exhibit the leadership skills needed to sell ideas and obtain management buy-in for constructive change.
- Must: SOX, COSO; Desire: COBIT,
- Must: Agile, 6Sigma, ISO, busines model canvas.
- Desirable CIA, CISA o PMO Preparation
- Financial Statements auditing experience.
- Operational Risk Management
