Automation Engineer
What you’ll do:
Job Summary Automation engineers are responsible for the design, development, and implementation of automated systems to reduce the need for human intervention and maximize efficiency of the manufacturing processes. They are responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring such technology. Strategic Context and Challenges Automation Engineer will support the Automation strategy defined in the Policy Deployment ensuring the compliance on time of the roll out plan established. Deliverables • Update Electrical Design and Programming of new Machines. • 95% of EA for all new Automatic Processes Developed.
What is required:
- PLCs and sensors background.
- Proficient on MS office package (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience creating parts, assemblies, drawings, BOMs, weldments, sheet metals.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance
- Problem Solving (8D's / 5Why's)
- Project Management
- Approach in total cost / analysis of business
- PFMAS background Personal Characteristics Enabling Success
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Education
• Minimum level: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics or similar). • Ideal Level: Master´s Degree in Engineering disciplines or MBA. Certifications/Accreditations
- Vision system, PLC programming, Draftsight, Laser Markers, Servo Motors, Previous Experience At least 3 years in a similar position.
Languages English level 2: Intermediate English Fluency in speaking, writing and listening.
