An assistant bartender is responsible for assisting in the preparation of drinks and in serving drinks and/or food to guests in the hotel's ongoing effort to provide exceptional customer service and financial profitability.What am I going to be doing? As an assistant bartender, you will assist in preparing drinks and serving drinks and/or food to guests in the hotel's ongoing effort to provide exceptional customer service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards: Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.Mix and garnish drinks according to the rules of recipes and portion control.Present and serve drinks to guests.Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with state, local, and corporate federal laws and regulations.Full accuracy, processing and collecting payments from customers to include, but not limited to, the use of the point-of-sale system, money handling, credit cards and debit processing, so certificates, cards and vouchers of exchange and gift processing.Stock up and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to, beer, wine, liquors, paper products, popotes and stirrers, condiments, glassware, and produce ice.Cut, store and ensure product quality of all perishable related beverage products.Respond professionally to drunken guests, as needed.What are we looking for?A Bartender serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
