Business Data Migration Expert (BDME) – Procurement

About the role
Location: Mexico City, #LI-Hybrid
As the Business Data Migration expert – Procurement, you will ensure data is delivered according to global/deployment/country requirements and timelines and is aligned to business processes in Procurement area. You will be responsible for Data Migration activities related to Procurement data in a deployment (above-country). You will act as the functional point of contact for Data Migration on the assigned data objects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure Procurement data cleansing tasks are completed on time
• Complete data collection for manual/construction objects on time
• Work together with IT counterparts to prepare value mappings
• Build and maintain master lists if applicable for assigned objects
• Provide business insights and information to technical teams for extraction and conversion from the legacy system(s) for assigned data objects
• Ensure Procurement data readiness & verify quality throughout data journey for assigned data objects
• Verify that data is fit for purpose (incl. alignment with internal/external stakeholders)
• Perform manual (type-in) data loads into target clients where applicable for assigned objects
• Execution and approval of data verification scripts

• Demonstrable understanding about the business processes in Procurement area (vendors, purchase order process)

• Strategic and hands on way of working (running meetings, tracking progress, managing issues)
• Strong Excel Skills
• ERP project implementation experience preferred
• Data Migration experience preferred
