Job Description

As part of the CEMEX Ventures team in the Arkik company, the BDA is responsible to generate incremental sales and revenue, improve profitability and help business grow as well as identify new ways of reaching existing markets by doing research and identifying new business opportunities, (including new markets, trends, customer, partnerships, products, and services).

Main Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new business opportunities or new ways of reaching additional portion of the current market.
  • Generate leads and cold calls with prospective customers.
  • Meet with customers / clients / prospects face to face or over the phone to present our products and services.
  • Seek for the appropriate contacts in an organization.
  • Understand the needs of the customers and respond effectively with a plan of how our product meet those needs.
  • Elaborate client quotes / proposal and draft contracts to be reviewed and finished by legal areas.
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.
  • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.
  • Help to plan sales campaigns.
  • Create a sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases.
  • Increase sales of the business.
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management / the board of directors.
  • Develop the business sales and marketing strategy.

Qualifications

Any requirement for this role, you may divide these into :

  • English 90%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Development / Business Management / Economics / Finance / Marketing or similar.
  • Master’s degree in administration Desirable.
  • 5 Years in Software or Services Sales / + 5 Years.

Marketing.Technical Skills :

  • IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets.
  • MS Dynamics experience desired.
  • Soft Skills (management, presentation skills, public speaking, self-motivated, etc.)
  • Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
  • Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills.
  • Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Negotiating skills.
  • The ability to analyze sales figures and write reports.
