The Capability Building Manager is positioned as a transformative force within the organizational culture at all levels. Serving as an architect and catalyst for change, this role focuses on the adoption of a Customer Centricity culture within the affiliate.

By developing and implementing strategies, the manager translates customer needs into capabilities and skills for teams within healthcare ecosystems. The role also includes enabling the organization with new competencies in customer-facing roles.

Collaboration with various units, including the affiliate people committee, disease area strategy, customer operations, medical, and functional business units, is essential.

Your Opportunity
  • Leads the Capability Building Team with a shared purpose and transcendent vision.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions, comprehensive development strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Ensuring successful implementation and demonstrating impact on customer experience and productivity KPIs.
  • Proactively shares best practices, exercising influence and informal leadership collaborating on local, regional, and global strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with People Leaders and business units to identify specific learning needs. Works through them to implement the Capability Building strategies.
  • Develop, lead, and assess effective experiential learning programs that enhance both scientific and role skills.
  • Strengthens the culture of self-development as a key competence in the organization. Focuses on learning initiatives through the 70-20-10 development model.
  • Ambassador of the proper use of Roche technological tools and learning platforms.
  • Provide Coaching individually to employees or teams to facilitate the process of change and adoption of new ways of working, upskilling and reskilling.
  • Manage external vendors to ensure the quality and relevance of learning programs. Stay updated on trends and best practices in employee development and proactively apply them.
Who You Are
  • You have a University degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 7 - 10 year of experience in skill development and learning, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices in organizational development and learning.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in multicultural environments.
  • Customer Facing experience a plus.
