Support regional sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a regional category manager or independently if under a defined threshold. Purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities
- Supports the development and implementation of regional sourcing strategies in close alignment with the regional Category leader.
- Working in close collaboration with the Electrification business stakeholders on the identification and realization of savings opportunities and translating them into sourcing events.
- Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions.
- Runs benchmark studies for the category team and for specific sourcing initiatives.
- Creates local contract amendments to frame agreements on behalf of a country and updates and maintains frame contracts.
- Supports regional sourcing initiatives within a defined set of categories, working closely with key stakeholders to implement regional category strategies.
- Providing guidance to the stakeholders and vendors about the invoicing process and supporting invoicing escalations.
- Create analytical report based upon spend.
- On-boards new suppliers in close collaboration with the respective local buyer and runs regular supplier evaluations and provides supplier reports to Businesses and Category Managers.
- Runs regional sourcing initiatives under a defined threshold. Initiates purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
- Fosters communication internally, externally, and between different Divisions, Business Units and Functions and supports the implementation of PL activities and initiatives in the Region/Country through this clear communication.
Your background
- Excellent communication and project management skills with an ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver complex strategic initiatives, in a truly global, fluid, interactive environment.
- Proven financial and business acumen and capability in negotiation, change management and stakeholder management.
- 5 years’ experience in sourcing project for Administration and General Services.
- Indirect Procurement experience required.
- Experience in transactional purchasing.
- SAP Ariba, PowerBI, Microsoft Excel and PPT.
- Advanced level of English.
