The Channel Strategy and Insights area was recently created to drive the definition of the future state of our channels by evaluating HSBC and the market situation, the current trends, other players and industries to generate insightful analyses that will support decision-making and support the senior stakeholders to make decisions. It will also support on achieving our main KPIs by producing fact-based analyses and recommendations.
The Channel Strategy and Insights Specialist will be responsible for generating evaluating and generating insights to support the strategic channels objectives, projects, planning, performance management, regulatory requests and decision-making.
Main responsibilities include:
- Conduct analysis to detect trends, opportunities and risks,
- Work with other areas in WPB to discuss and validate findings
- Produce documents with findings and recommendations to present to stakeholders
- Support stakeholders in decision making or problem solving by providing analyses
- Ensure the continued development analytical capability in order to respond to business requirements
- Recommend deep dive priorities based on analyses of KPIs. These may be forecasts, sales analyses, customer trends, expenditure reports, scenario models, statistical analyses, organizational metrics and benchmark reports.
- Manage the provision of developmental activity for team members and oversee their work schedules to ensure optimum coverage for stakeholders
Principal Accountabilities:
- Make recommendations for Strategic Channels to achieve targets (sales, adoption, service etc.)
- Deliver fact-based analyses with different points of view
- Identify AOP risks and opportunities and recommend pro-active actions

- Engages with our colleagues and stakeholders (Business Management and Strategic Channels) to build a trust-based relationship on a continuing basis
