The Plant CI & Industrial Eng. Manager is responsible for leading and managing process improvement projects within the organization, designed to eliminate waste and non-value-added activities and enhance operational performance. Ensure that all Industrial engineering information and manufacturing processes are adequate to produce units in accordance with the customer requirements (Quality, OTD and Cost).
Lead/support Lean / Six Sigma Black Belts and teams to achieve the cost per EQU
Defines and implements all industrial and manufacturing process, such as, but not limited to XXXX, yamazumi boards, line balancing, parts presentation etc.
Coordinate new products and process’s introduction, manufacturing of special products or prototypes.
Work with Finance Manager and Account Champions to execute cost reduction projects to meet plant goals.
Responsible for project execution to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual savings according to the plant operating plan.
Report project progress to management team and other appropriate leadership levels in a monthly basis.
Prepare detailed plans to track project performance and assure timely completion and achievement of savings goals. Identify and implement recovery plans when projects are not executed on time.
Apply Benchmark tools (globally) to identify best business practices and execute projects to implement.
Align plant annual operating plan with corporate requirements for Continuous Improvement savings to improve profitability and reduce the gap in cost / EQU.
Promote Six Sigma, Lean and Kepner Trego in the organization and drive culture change.
Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Administration, Industrial engineering, or any other engineering discipline
