Our team in Mexico is growing; we are currently recruiting for aCivilGeotechnical Engineerto join our Project Delivery Business line in theMexico office.
About the role
Carry out engineering analysis, design & reporting for projects related to tailings storage facilities, waste rock dumps and other mine infrastructure.
Prepare high quality technical reports, proposals and project documents.
Manage the preparation of design drawings & specifications from scoping study to detailed design and construction.
Develop construction and engineering cost estimates.
Work as an integral team member in a multi-discipline environment.
Travel to client sites within Mexico and internationally.
About you
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field.
From 5 to 7 years of experience.
Master's degree in civil engineering or closely related field is desirable.
Experience with dam stability analysis, MAC, GSTM, FMEA.
Knowledge of geotechnical modeling software and finite element analysis is an advantage.
Experience in Water Resources (Hydrology, calculations, design)
Experience in the design of diversion canal works.
Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, GeoStudio (or similar), Arc Map, Modelling expertise (PLAXIS or similar)
Excellent verbal and written communication in Spanish and knowledge of English
