Commercial Partner Manager, Pooled Partners

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Partner Manager to spearhead the expansion of Adyen's Pooled Partnerships program in LATAM (Brazil & Mexico).
In this role, you will be entrusted with cultivating and expanding relationships with long- tail technology partners (e.g. POS providers, ecom platforms), alliances partners (e.g system integrators, digital agencies) and other regional partners who contribute significant deal pipeline for our commercial sales org. Adyen boasts a robust partnerships portfolio, including industry leaders such as Adobe, Salesforce, Microsoft, Oracle, Shopify, Commerce tools, and more.

The touch-points in the Pooled Partnerships team are the baseline on how we engage with partners. This role is focused on accelerating business growth through partners at scale and to create an overall better experience for them.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to effectively manage a large partner portfolio (exceeding 50 partners). You will harness automation, technology, and streamlined processes to cultivate and expand partnerships, ensuring scalable and fruitful relations with our valued partners.
With a blend of business and product expertise, you will proactively identify, develop, and nurture channel partnerships for Adyen.

As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving enterprise pipeline growth for the sales organization and contributing to the acceleration of our overall business growth trajectory. What you'll do

  • Initiating and developing commercial relationships with a variety of partners for Adyen in a scaled program
  • Harness automation, technology, and streamlined processes to cultivate and expand partnerships, ensuring scalable and fruitful relations with our valued partners
  • Driving partner recommendations and referrals that lead to new business wins;
  • Ensuring that suitable technical integrations are developed to support the partnership and make it easier for Adyen to integrate new customers;
  • Negotiating commercial partnership models (e.g. revenue share models and joint go to market plans);
  • Working together with Adyen's global partnerships and sales teams by attending meetings with existing and potential partners and customers.

Who you are

  • 2-3 years of experience in a direct partnerships facing role, ideally having managed large partner ecosystems in a scaled program
  • Ability to think and operate like an entrepreneur, a go-getter mentality
  • Ability to see the bigger picture in channel management using a global and commercial mindset
  • Flexible, professional, accurate and structured
  • Excellent organizational skills as we are a flat organization with a lot of autonomy
  • Outgoing, friendly and fun
  • This role is based out of our Mexico office
  • You have Advanced English.
  • Portuguese is desired, but not mandatory.
