Puesto Vacante: Commvault Backup Administrator

Funciones:

? Implement and configure Commvault backup policies and procedures.

? Monitor the Commvault backup environment and identify and resolve any problems.

? Perform regular backups of all critical systems and data.

? Restore data from backups as needed.

? Test backups on a regular basis to ensure that they are working properly.

? Monitoring daily backups and troubleshooting any failed backups

? Work with vendor/ Commvault team to troubleshoot failed jobs where vendor support is required.

? Updating the backup tracker

? Restore objects / Libraries based on customer requirement.

? Perform patching activities and any necessary upgradation!

? Perform DR System Recovery

? Change / Incident Management

? Facilitating Audit Queries / Requests

? Upkeep of documentation like SMTDs (System & Maintenance Technical Document)

? Capacity Planning

? Timely liaison with vendors regarding problems, fixes, and required enhancements. 

? Provide necessary input for management updates, status reporting, and dashboards from a platform health and security perspective. 

? Partner with security, compliance, to identify and implement solutions to address gaps.

Requisitos:

? Graduate degree in Engineering or Computer Studies  

? Five years of experience as a Commvault backup administration.

? Strong understanding of Commvault backup architecture and operation.

? Experience with Commvault backup management tools and utilities.

? Experience with troubleshooting Commvault backup problems.

? Excellent customer service and communication skills.

? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

? A team player who will work with other IT team members and also help to implement and support IT projects.

? Able to assimilate information and to disseminate effectively to customers and colleagues

? Self-directed, proactive, work on own initiative with a best practice approach. 

? Pragmatic problem solver 

? Able to articulate technical issues in terms of business risk and opportunity Strong team player prepared to work flexibly across a matrix organization

Modalidad de trabajo:

Hibrido 3 días de home office por semana en Ciudad de México.
