YOUR ROLE:

  • Product change management: workflows, approvals and notifications through PLM platforms.
  • Manage PLM Systems and Automation.
  • Monitor and track EE BOMs for part consolidation and preparation for part obsolescence.
  • Proactively and diligently provide detailed proposals for alternate components.
  • Work with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Design teams to:
  • Ensure PLM systems properly reflect primary and alternate components.
  • Enable best processes and practices are in place, leveraging automation where possible.
  • Review PCNs and be a point of contact for engineers and suppliers.
  • Assist in manufacturing and field failure analysis at the component level.
  • Support both NPI and production programs.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical o Electronics Engineering.
  • Advanced English Proficiency.
  • 3+ years of component or manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience working with PLM systems and automation .
  • Electronic components experience desired.
  • Strong understanding of electronic design and manufacturing workflows.
  • Experience working with Electrical Engineering BOMs to monitor and track part consolidation and preparation for part obsolescence.
  • Experience providing detailed proposals of alternate components in EE BOMs.
  • Work experience with manufacturing cross functional teams such as quality, supply chain and, design and product engineering to ensure PLM systems reflect primary and alternate components in EE BOMs.
  • Experience performing failure analysis at component level.

PLUS skills (not a must, only desirable):

  • Familiarity with automotive compliance procesess: AEC-Q, PPAP, APQP.
  • Familiarity with Cadence and Altium ECAD tools and development flows.
  • Familiarity with Enovia PLM
  • Experience as an EE board designer
