We are looking to build a strong pipeline for future opportunities at diverse levels for the Consultant PMO structure. The Consultant – PMO structure is accountable for managing strategic business projects for Novartis Group, the CEO and the Executive Committee, with the aim of maximizing economic value and securing future competitive advantage and also for supporting Senior Strategy Managers and Directors in projects around key Novartis products in major markets, that deliver substantially greater outcome improvement than from the product alone. Main responsibilities: • Maintains the contact with the divisional strategy teams and plans/organizes regular update meetings. In addition, the project manager also leads small projects at any time from project scoping, creating content and managing of stakeholders to generate insights and prepare outputs which enable informed decisions. • Prepares regular exchange between community members, e.g. independent organization of the annual Strategy offsite meeting (including agenda, speakers, etc), ensures transparent communication across the divisional Strategy teams and supports the managers and directors in project work and provide expert consultation during all project phases. • Aligns closely with stakeholders at country, functional and global level as defined by the requirements of the different projects and initiatives, independently monitor milestones of the projects as well as completion and assists Head of Strategy on larger strategy projects across units and functions as well as countries while takes ownership for subparts of the overall project and ensure completion of these. • Proactively applies project management methodologies, provides change management support and appropriate communications for the implementation of projects and initiatives and supports review of dependencies and milestones at program or portfolio level and provide guidance, monitoring and control to program team. • Co-ordinates risk & issue activity in all relevant business areas and establishes a level of control consistency, works with key business stakeholders, program team, project managers to identify risks & Issues and drive the project/program managers to effectively manage those risks and issues within their own projects and aligns closely with stakeholders at country, functional and global level as defined by the requirements.

Role Requirements
• Experience leading process improvement projects in large companies and across different regions.
• Strong Strategy Development, Project Management and/ or technical skills.
• Experience collaborating across boundaries.
• Knowledge of Major Change Industry and Business Exposure.
• Experience developing and delivering story flows and presentations for Management.
• Strong knowledge of Strategic thinking, planning, current and future global business trends.
• Experience in Deployment, IT Project/Program management and SAP/ERP would be an added advantage.
• Background managing resources Assessing impact of (internal & external) changes on the HCS Analyzing stakeholder requirements.
• Experience leading strategic initiatives and developing internal talent to enable and speed transformation in Novartis.
