About the Role

At Uber Delivery, we are the heart and soul of the company. These are the teams that take our global product and localize it to an assigned market. In this context, this role is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact in building and crafting the category of grocery and retail delivery and the future of Mercado at Uber in Mexico!

The Consumer Growth Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation of the user acquisition, retention and engagement strategy in a specific region, while working hand-in-hand with the local Territory team and the rest of the Operations team to align on the strategy and ensure it is perfectly implemented

This role calls for a combination of savvy analytics, critical thinking, strong execution and the interpersonal ability to work alongside the Operations team.

What you'll do
  • Strategy execution: Work with the rest of the team's coordinators to execute the business' communication and incentives strategy
  • Develop & Optimize Processes: Scale new and existing processes to allow the business to efficiently operate and grow
  • Budget management: Handle promotions budget efficiently to increase customer acquisition, engagement and retention
  • Product Improvement: Actively search for new features which could improve our customers' experience on Uber. Work directly with central teams to prioritize and ensure local relevance of new product rollouts
  • Stakeholder Management & Teamwork: Build and develop strong relationships with cross-functional, central and territory teams (e.g. Marketing, Community Operations, Policy, Communication, Legal, etc.) in order to contribute to the long-term growth of the territory while building a global network
  • Strategy design: Participate in discussions with the team and our partners to build bullet proof strategies
What you'll need
  • 0 to 2 years of experience solving analytical problems; experience in business consulting, investment banking or other hyper-growth startups is preferred
  • English professional proficiency
  • Critical thinking and analytical rigor, as you will be dealing with data
  • Experience with data-based decision-making - exercising good judgment in ambiguous circumstances, and effectively communicating across a diverse team
  • Strong Excel skills
  • SQL
  • Python
  • Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills
