About the role
Continuous Excellence provides a behavioural driven methodology to drive a sustainable business and process excellence culture and continuously improve results. The Regional CE lead is responsible to lead and coordinate the implementation of the Continuous Excellence (CE) initiatives within the GBS centers in regions. CE Lead will also lead CE site Goal Alignment and Focused Improvement pillar teams and Train coaches and assesses people within GBS regional centre on CE methodology. This role is a key leadership position within a large multi-functional shared service organization responsible for the application and delivery of Continuous Excellence(CE) Initiatives, to drive process innovation, service excellence and continuous improvement across the scope of our operations. It will play a key role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver ongoing business transformation. and contributing to talent development. CE is 80% Behaviour based and 20% tools (CI).
Key responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and application of Continuous Excellence Initiatives and practices in the GBS Center in region
- To identify and deliver service improvement activity across the business through employing Continuous Excellence methodologies and the application of innovative thinking
- To support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working
- To secure employee and leadership commitment for proactive continuous elimination of non-value in processes and ways of working
- To Establish a clear and well-articulated implementation plan to ensure the successful application of Continuous Excellence in the region.
- Responsible for training, coaching and assessing application of CE by people within GBS:
- Implement CE training, coaching and assessment strategy and framework as developed by the Global CE lead.
Qualifications and skills
- Minimum 5-7 years significant Lean / Continuous Improvement delivery in a GBS organization, global or in a very large SSC, and/or have led extensive end-to-end sustainable process improvements in other industry with proven track record.
- Successful experience in Change and Stakeholder Management and Process Management desired, knowledge of GBS environments and associated operational measures desired
