Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The role is focused on ensuring supervising and managing accounting and reporting, analysis, business and process support as well as delivering real time of the company's assets and projects, complying with the SLA's of services, policies and procedures PI, USGAAP, Financial regulations and SOX within a customer focused environment.

This position is responsible for the ESSA Fixed Assets Team.

The role entails interaction with the GBS/GBS Control Teams, Business Units’ control teams and outsourced delivery teams.

Your Impact

As a Control &Reporting Fixed Assets Sr Coordinator your responsibilities would consist of:

Coordinate the Fixed Assets services R2R according to SLA:

  • Coordinate and supervise activities and responsibilities of the CSC Fixed Assets team for its compliance, guaranteeing the correct execution of activities, analysis and reports, as well as the area indicators in time and form.
  • Identify, propose and execute projects to improve processes, contributing to the generation of productivity, efficiency, savings and quality of life in the area of Fixed Assets at GBS Control Team.
  • Coordinate, analyze and / or prepare executive reports for Management, internal, external and corporate auditors; generating quality financial information for decision making (including Capex Tracking) .
  • Ensure the compliance of policies, procedures and controls of the financial information of the area; guaranteeing the issuance of reliable financial statements and compliance with KC SOX certification.
  • Supervise the follow-up of the calendar and closing activities of the accounting month and year in the area of Fixed Assets and Projects, ensuring the timely closing of periods guaranteeing the reliability of the financial information.
  • Support Ops Controller in order not to have additional exceptions for external audit (KPMG).
  • Ensure compliance to Global Control Standards (GCS) and ensure that key controls achieve “effective” on a quarterly basis 

Ensure  both, short and long term strategy. : Ensure an develop a customer focused approach to the internal client base.

Coordinate the team:

    • Provide coaching / mentoring to the team.
    • KPI's monitoring and monthly presentation.
    • Foster a Culture of continues improvement.
    • Close interaction with OU to foment networking and service.
    • Support effective change management process.
  • Achieve AOP - cost per transaction.
  • Support LATAM GBS Control RTR Manager to drive People Strategy and Core People Processes.
  • Contribute to improve and maintain a healthy organizational climate (OHS)
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

  • University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economics or equivalent education

Experience

  • Financial technical skills achieved through experience or accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Work experience 4+ years of proven experience in a similar position is a must
  • SAP knowledge;
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and / or Local GAAP
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English). 90% English (writing, reading, conversation)
  • Executive maturity
  • Problem solver, logical aptitude, handle tough stakeholders
  • Ability to lead multiple task forces at the same time, capable of managing multiple time sensititive priorities simultaneously of the FA team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project); ability to create complex formulas in Excel
  • Experience of Financial Reporting Systems and Databases e.g.,SAP/ Oracle
  • Must be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and self-motivated
  • Exhibit a strong ‘can-do’, ‘will-do’ attitude and strong sense of urgency in meeting deadlines.
