Cost Accountant

Client Overview:  Our client is a global organization with a strong presence in the retail manufacturing industry looking to expand their team in Mexico. 

Job title: Cost Accountant 
Key Responsibilities :

• Inventory control
• Financial information analysis
• Budget control
• Cost-related accounting records
• Scrap tracking (Recording losses in numbers)
• SKU profit margin analysis
• Inventory module closure in infinity (SAP)
• Perform other duties as assigned
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting.
• Knowledge of standard costs and budgets.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in financial roles.
• Teamwork, effective communication, problem-solving, analysis, sense of urgency,
  high level of responsibility.
• Build a strong and trusting relationship with local leadership team, as well as with
  corporate.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel, good computer system management
• Flexibility and ability to meet short deadlines. 
• Fluent English.

Other information:  Candidate must show proof of Mexican citizenship
