What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets. Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

  • Ensure the correct application of internal controls and policies related to cost
  • Participates in the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Prepare the frozen forecast of Fixed Expenses, Variables, Other costs of the period (OPC)
  • Prepare and present analysis of operating expenses vs. budget and frozen forecast
  • Prepare analysis of manufacturing variations by cost element (Labor, burden, Material, Mfg support)
  • Responsible for the analysis of the volume produced, trends and impact on absorptions volume mix.
  • Prepare and submit reports that are required and reflect the results of the plant.
  • Validate projects to reduce expenses.
  • Participate in the annual inventory of material.
  • Support with the preparation of KI (Key Indicators)
  • Participate in the closing of the month, prepare and process policies as well as analysis of results
  • Periodically review the BOM, uses and standard time of the products with the highest demand
  • Prepare standard cost projections for products in development and / or transfers
  • Prepare and coordinate the audit to the monthly production inventory
  • Ensure the veracity of the inventory by auditing cyclic counts
  • Implement continuous improvement projects that optimize finance processes using the DMAIC methodology
  • Comply with the necessary security measures, occupational diseases and environmental contingencies
  • Notify the acts, unsafe conditions and environmental risks observed in any area of ​​the company.
  • Follow and demonstrate the values of the company


Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field
