Job Description

The Shared Service Center in Apodaca, Mexico is looking for a Credit Managerthat have the skills and experience of building up a Shared Service Center organization, by being a strong motivator able to lead multiple teams and create an empowering and inspiring culture to achieve targets and high-performance standards. You will report to the head of the Shared Service Center, and be responsible for managing cash application, credit risk and collection of Accounts Receivable in Americas for the Danfoss Group, besides participating in global projects and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Monitoring of performance and proactively managing day to day workload in the teams to ensure KPI´s are met.
• Thereby, monitor customer overdue and assess customer creditworthiness.
• Ensure the Team obtain resolution on disputed items related to quality, shipping, pricing etc.
• Support the Sales team in payment term decisions, risk assessment & evaluation to eventually stop delivery and oversee customer accounts.
• Solid experience in risk assessment and financial analysis of customer´s creditworthiness in order to make decisions about order releases, as well as credit limits.
• Develop the credit management team – thereby provide finance training on credit management subjects within own, and towards other, SSC’s.
• Develop credit management understanding within the Danfoss organization – e.g. within Sales or Customer service – to ensure they see Credit Management as an equal and supportive partner.
• Data driven continuously improvement mindset with high standards for securing highest possible value adding to the processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, standards & guidelines and external legislation.
• Support on internal and external audit process
• Coordinate and control the bad debt reserve, write-offs and legal collection cases.

• Education in field of economics and/or management (or similar) with minimum 5 years of experience in credit management, financial risk assessment & decision making based upon analysis.
• Good commercial knowledge and ability to find balance between risk and commercial interest.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with managerial experiences from similar position.
• Strong organization and communication skills in writing and in professional communication with multiple stakeholders both internally & externally at various levels in a big organization.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within demanding timelines and create results via people in your team.
• Demonstrate leadership leading by example with a hands-on approach and detailed process understanding.
• Self-motivated individual with a "can do" attitude having attention to the details and commitment to agreed deliverables.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and capability to stay fact based in situations with divergent interest and/or opinions.
• Proactive and foresighted thinking, combined with entrepreneurial spirit searching for solutions.
• Strong project management skills and experience with transitioning of tasks and responsibilities with minimum impact on current operation by handling change management both internally and towards relevant stakeholders.
• Operate as one team – with full backup functionality – even being at more than one location.
• Fluency in English language – verbally and in written – and additionally Spanish would be an advantage.
• Knowledge on MS Office and on SAP including Financial Supply Change Module elements.
