Reports to:  Customer Experience Learning & Development Senior Manager

The Role:  The Product Education Lead will function as and partner with MaryRuth’s product subject matter experts to develop engaging content for MaryRuth’s, focusing on evergreen reference materials (including infographics, informational databases, and self-paced trainings), as well as providing support around customer questions, and interdepartmental Product Education needs, such as external educational initiatives (ex: presentations and activities) based on business needs and audience analysis. This is a full-time (40 hr/wk) paid, hourly, non-exempt, fully-remote position. This individual must be able to work one of the US time zones. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing development of subject matter expertise to meet Product Education needs team-wide.
  • Supporting with responses to, auditing, and templatizing frequent customer questions.
  • Assist the Customer Experience Learning & Development Senior Manager in developing and maintaining evergreen reference materials.
  • Research, write, edit, and create templates, glossary terms, and various product-related databases.
  • Collaborate with Product Development & Compliance, to provide education and product information that is accurate, current, consistent, and compliant.
  • Ensure that all educational materials are compliant according to internal compliance and regulatory standards set by the FSQA Department.

Qualifications: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • One to three years of experience with vitamins and supplements. 
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and cross-functionally, as well as effective in solo work.
  • Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting industry-related materials. 
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences. 
  • Curious and creative while balancing regulatory requirements.
  • Able to analyze and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Technically proficient, and willing to learn and adapt to new systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including one’s human body. 
  • This role involves sitting most of the time, but may also involve moving for brief periods of time.
