ThisjobdescriptioncoverstheskillsandresponsibilitiesfortheCustomsTradeComplianceMangeroverseeing Southern border Import / Export operations comply with all requirements and general plant objectives to ensure legal operating companies maintain compliance.

Responsibilities:

Underlimited supervision,andin accordancewith all applicable federal,state and locallaws / regulations andCorporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures andguidelines, thisposition:

· RepresentstheCompanyinallCustomsmattersrelatedtoMexicoCustomsandotherGovernment agencies in Mexico.

· Ensures and anticipates compliance of Mexico Government requirements. Reviews changes and analyzes impact related to Customs laws and regulations ensuring the correct implementation.

· Oversees Customs inventory controls for Import / Export balances.

· Ensures that all applicable permits and licenses are transacted in a timely and accurate manner.

· Ensures that all Certificates of Origin are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

· Coordinates the general documentation for Import / Export operations to comply with the legal requirements for Mexico and US Customs.

· Customs statutory reporting as required by Government Authorities.

· AnalyzesandadvisesmanagementonimpactofchangesrelatedtoUSandMexicanCustomslawsand regulations.

· Provideperformanceandpotentialfeedbacktodirectreports,partneringwiththemtoprepareshort-and long-term development plans.

· Represents Juarez J&J operating company upon Mexican and US Customs.

· Analyze and Report on Annex 30, VAT, New TAX Reform.

· Coordinates with US Broker resolution for any situation that may affect the operation of the Company.

· Conducts periodic audits / reviews to ensure accurate information is being updated into Customs System.

· Ensures procurement of department supplies and resources.

· EnsuresproperrecordkeepingandarchivingofCustomsdocumentsaccordingtoregulationsandJ&J policies and procedures.

Qualifications

· University / bachelor’s degree or equivalent (International Trade, Customs Administration, Law Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or Commercial Relation) or qualifying combination of experience.

· Minimumof8to10yearsworkexperienceinoneofthefollowingdisciplines:CustomsManagementor Trade Compliance in a manufacturing environment.

· Knowledge and skills to successfully develop this position’s responsibilities.

· U.S. / Mexico Customs laws and regulations and Foreign Trade practices

· Foreign Trade practices

· FDA regulations pertaining to imports Technical / functional competences:

· Bilingual: English / Spanish

· Accuracy / thoroughness

· Managing / developing others

· Verbal and written communication proficiency
