We are looking for a talented Database Administrator to join our Filtration team in San Luis Potosí, SLP.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Supports application development teams in designing physical database, creating database objects in development, developing stored procedures, packages, data copy or refresh procedures.
• Designs and develops security implementation, including user authorization and encryption strategy.
• Produces migration scripts to be used during staging or production deployment, coordinates database implementation and/or deployment with production DBA.
• Prepares system documentations related to data model, database/table/view, and application use cases.
• Participate in daily scrums or standups with other team members to discuss project status and identify blockers. Update JIRA with status and effort.
• Understand business requirements/processes and the interdependencies of interfacing systems.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT engineering or related.
• 1-3 years of experience in similar role.
• Experience managing databases on public cloud providers like AWS RDS and Aurora (MySQL & PostgreSQL)
• Advanced English level.
