TE Connectivity's Logistics Demand Management Teams develop, integrate and provide short-term accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations which include replenishment data, customer data, sales promotion information, marketing plans and new distribution/product deletions. They are responsible for facilitating, managing and executing strategic directions related to plant performance, customer demand agreements, supply chain improvements, revenue forecasting and overall improvement in delivery metrics globally. They assist in the improvement of demand system forecasting accuracy for customers. The Demand Management Teams maintain and manage product history, forecasts and promotional demand. They analyze internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns. They also may input sales/marketing intelligence for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, and related forecasting and planning groups.

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Track the flow of materials to ensure consumption according to customer's required date preventing overages and/or shortages.
  • Effectively manage the MRP for the release of intercompany orders, as well as expediting processes for the achievement of the "ship to request" objective and work on the necessary rescheduling and/or cancellations according to the customer's requirement shown in the system.
  • Prioritize and propose alternative solutions to supply problems.
  • Continuously review various reports to have a visualization of actions to be taken and review with relevant departments.
  • Maintain constant communication with Customer Care / Solution Center and Sales for needs and / or new projects that allow us to offer preventive solutions to each customer request or situation.
  • Coordinate with intercompany customer, logistics, warehouse and invoicing the national or international shipment of materials that are requested as urgent by a TE subsidiary.
  • Develop strategies and / or various informative reports to follow up on the specific requirements or guidelines of each BU.
  • Maintain up to date system (SAP) in all matters relating to planning and purchasing to ensure that real time queries are immediately accessible.
  • Monitor weekly inventory levels.
  • Take appropriate action in case of reports of shortages, overages or damaged materials.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration, International Business, International Relations, Engineering or a graduate of any of the above.
  • Professional experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in planning, purchasing or supply chain.
  • Knowledge: Forecasting, statistics, supply chain, logistics, logistics, inventory management, sourcing models, purchasing.
  • Languages: Advanced English
  • Software or systems: Office Suite (Excel Intermediate-Advanced), SAP (Planning, Purchasing and Material Master)
