The SIOP team within Sensata is seeking an individual who has a proven analytical problem solving and results-driven background to drive reporting and analytic improvements within the Global SIOP organization. The candidate should be a self-starter, able and willing to learn new tools and processes, think critically and creatively, and encouraged to challenge various team members. The SIOP Analyst encourages to use top BI tools/reporting solutions, is persistent in seeing them through.
General Responsibilities
Key participant in the creation of future capacity plans
Collaborates on any communication with marketing, manufacturing and customer service to ensure accuracy and efficiency of message
Organizes the defining of an integrated supply chain to produce sustained, timely performance on all accounts
Key participant in the measuring and monitoring of specific product / program categories
Key participant in in-depth analysis with large amounts of data to run various statistics and analyses on the company to help future predictability of Demand Planning
Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
The incumbent collaborates with the SIOP, Global Process Owners (GPO) , Business Unit functions , and other stakeholders, to implement improvement plans, develop relevant and accurate reporting, Demand Planning processes and report back on results.
Key Accountabilities:
Communicate directly with team members about improvement efforts and their progress
Drive processes to achieve short, medium, and long-term planning visibility, accuracy, and gaps to the Annual Planning targets consistently.
Determine issues and develop improvement solutions to drive inventory optimization, E&O reduction, forecast accuracy, capacity planning, master data accuracy, Item segmentation while taking into consideration corporate goals to improve customer satisfaction (via on-time delivery) and overall cost-to-serve (inventory, expedite freight, etc.)
Work on improving accuracy and simplifying current SIOP reporting covering 7 pillars of reporting as in Master data, Inventory, Demand/ Sales performance, Supply Planning, Inventory optimization, Product segmentation and logistics.
Collect data requirements to develop exception-based reporting and support Monthly operating system at different levels of organization.
Use expertise in data visualization and tools (Oracle analytics Clod/OAC, Oracle Business Intelligence / OBIEE).
Automate analytic techniques to interpret data, identify issues, analyze causes, data visualization and provide well-reasoned conclusions and solutions.
Work closely with the team of GPOs to understand overall SIOP objectives, and represent the interests of Demand, Supply, and inventory planning as different levels of organization.
Responsible for training being key user of reporting tools develop in OAC, Tableau, or excel.
Develop new reporting based on current needs or transfer existing reports to the newer solutions.
Report monthly data on KPIs trends and identifies exceptions for focus areas and opportunities for improvement back to the SIOP team.
Work closely with Planning teams globally on development and execution of SIOP improvement projects.
Active participant representing reporting simplification, implementation, integration from different reporting to one system and re-designs of reports as required.
Provide reporting to customer service GPOs on customer specific improvement projects and impact to demand accuracy..
Job Requirements:
- Advanced Planning System experience preferred (Oracle VCP suite such as ASCP, Demantra, IO or SAP APO, Logility, Kinaxis etc.) preferred
