Job Description Summary:

The Design Project Manager at TransUnion is a key position supporting the head of product design, driving the growth and operational processes of the team. Alongside the head of design, you'll participate in senior leader discussions to help establish requirements, core objectives, assumptions and more for the projects we take on.
You'll serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, fostering clear and timely communication on project status, team capacity, deadlines, requirements, risks, and changes.
In this role, you'll get to work with and support a passionate group of designers.
You'll be responsible for helping the design team keep track of incoming projects on a week to-week basis during weekly standups as well as reporting on the velocity, workloads, and upcoming work.
Finally, you'll be key in helping us drive and organize our internal reviews of prototypes, wireframes, user research, etc, with key stakeholders while helping collect and recap feedback.
You'll help the design team make cool stuff and work with a variety of talented people to solve meaningful consumer problems throughout the credit wellness and identity protection space.
We are a people-first design community, so we expect you to have a human-centered approach to project managing as well.

What You'll Bring:

What we are looking for:  
 1-3 years of proven experience in project management, with a focus on supporting initiatives for product design-focused teams.  
 Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Adobe Workfront, Rally, etc.  Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with and influence stakeholders.  
 Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
 Clear understanding of the design thinking process and product discovery activities including user experience research, wireframes, user flows, prototyping and user testing. 
 Familiarity with design applications like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Miro, Adobe CreatieSuite, etc.
