Description
We are looking for a creative expert to join our team and help design visually appealing content in a variety of formats. The ideal candidate should have strong conceptual skills and the ability to deliver design outputs independently – from idea to the final design solution.
This role requires collaboration with different product experts, to produce content used by Oracle customers. The position requires excellent English communication skills, both written and oral – to work collaboratively within a cross-skilled, globally distributed team. Although a day shift position, the candidate must have the flexibility to work evenings as required. The team operates in a highly collaborative model, taking full advantage of Oracle’s global web conferencing capabilities. Acute attention to detail is a must. Quality-oriented, creative individuals with excellent project and time management skills will excel.
This position requires a creative individual with strong design skills, keen contemporary visual sense, great attention to detail along with a solid conceptual approach to their creative solutions.
What You'll Do
What will you do as a Graphic Designer on the Digital Content team at Oracle?
- Create/replicate content assets (presentations, diagrams, infographics, collateral, etc.) as per templates, prototypes and design specifications based on Oracle brand guidelines
- Maintain the quality of designs on-going basis, on-time and without errors
- Create layouts and designs of emails, banners, landing pages, digital campaign, and more, based on Oracle brand guidelines
- Ability to receive constructive feedback from teammates, supervisor(s) and internal clients with an utmost professional manner
- Collaborate effectively with development leads, product managers & content production/management team members
- Remain flexible with design changes and creative direction
- Adapt and embrace emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs and new presentation tools to transform generic, text-heavy input into graphically engaging, concise, and interactive experiences
Required Skills/Experience
- Minimum 2-5 Years of industry experience (candidate can be from IT/ITES or other industries like fashion, media, digital, branding, marketing, advertising etc.)
- Bachelor's in any of the following disciplines - Fine Arts, Advertising, Computer Graphics, or equivalent
- Expertise in following software / tools is a must:
- Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator and Photoshop
- Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Meaningful experience with the following tools will be an added advantage:
- Figma
- Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Audition
- Dreamweaver, Cinema 4D
- Ability to conceptualize, identify and create design assets needed to bring the story to life
- A portfolio or selection of work samples demonstrating creative and innovative design solutions
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-departmental teams
