Dirección Engineering Manager
Be a dynamic leader who is highly organized and capable of providing leadership, guidance and direction in achieving the hotel’s vision and mission. Reporting to the GM and Corp., the Engineering Manager will be responsible for implementing Accor engineering and work standards and overseeing the engineering department operations.
Job Description
•Oversees all aspects of the engineering department
•Oversees all hotel projects to ensure satisfactory completion
•Maintains all equipment and systems in correct operational status by ensuring the correct preventative plans are designed and executed
•Ensure all parts of Engineering
are aligned to Accor MEP standards,
Fire & Life Safety standards,
Risk Management etc.
•Forecasts, manages and suggests improvements to the hotel energy
and water usage consumption
•Prepares strategic CAPEX plans
•Coordinates and completes all audits in respect of engineering, Fire, Life Safety and risk management
Work Experience
•Bachelors’ degree or similar qualification within the Engineering field
•Minimum of 5+ years experience in a similar position in a 300+ room hotel
•Experience of project management including renovation, M&E upgrade, etc.
•Excellent interpersonal, written, presentation and verbal communication skills
•Highly organized with the ability to be flexible, and to work well under pressure
•Demonstrates a record of being able to nurture, develop and build a strong team
