Your role at Baxter

• Lead companywide remote and Distributed Operations, including Planning & Fulfillment (P&F)/ warehousing, Commercial Offices/Sales and Global Technical Services (GTS) (100+ locations).
• Plan, design, and implement programs, provide risk analysis & risk management actions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives for EHS&S management systems processes.
• Build collaborative partnerships, influence key business decisions, implement strategies to ensure that the company prevents and/or controls risks arising from operations or the business.

Your team

• Lead a global team of P&F facility based EHS&S teams, regionally based Distributed Operations teams and global technical services.
• Operates as part of the EHS&S Corporate Leadership Team, contributing to strategic direction of the function.
• Business partner to Operations Leadership for Planning & Fulfillment and Global Technical Services.

What you'll be doing

• Proactively identify systemic EHS&S management gaps, develop corrective measures and implement solutions. Assess gaps and prioritize opportunities by embracing continuous improvement.
• Collect/measure and apply enterprise EHS&S data to support risk-based project/program design, planning and execution; evaluate trends for continuous improvement or corrective measures.
• Recommend and support new approaches to relevant program areas, including fleet/driver safety, ergonomics, material handling, hazard ID, etc. to improve existing EHS&S content, processes, methods and techniques.
• Partner with the technical training team to ensure improvement in design, training, and competence management of field personnel.
• Drive simplification and efficiency through the utilization of technology/digital tools.

What you'll bring

• B.S. Degree in Environmental, Safety, Engineering or related field required; M.S. Degree in Environmental or Safety Engineering or Technology preferred.
• 15+ years of related experience, including leading direct/indirect teams.
• Detailed understanding of global and EHS legal requirements, EHS engineering, best practices and EHS management systems.
• Experience supporting remote/distributed warehousing and field based operations.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $160,000-$240,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
