This expansive property will include 96 beautifully appointed guestrooms and 61 villas & estate residences centrally located in the "tourist corridor" between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo on the top of Baja California Sur with amazing views of the sea where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. Amenities will include three restaurants, three resort pools, an open-air fitness center, Spa & Spa Garden and a Clubhouse event facility. Target Hire Date: October 2, 2023
The management level for this position is: Operations - Department Head with local package The role of the Director of Security Reporting into the Resort Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day security operation to protect the safety and security of our employees, guests and property; ensuring we are compliant with local and company safety and security regulations. During the pre-opening phase, your role will include planning and implementing policies and procedures prior to the opening.
We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize is also essential for this position. Successful candidates will be a willing team player, comfortable with electronic systems and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work.
The Director of Security is part of a diverse and dynamic team that provides award-winning service to our valued guests. This leader will provide leadership for all operational management team and will be responsible for delivering the highest level of service in terms of guest experience. Knowledge and Skills Security leadership experience in a luxury hotel o resort Certifications / Experience in CPR, First Aid, Fire prevention and property protection Strong leadership & organizational skills required Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study preferred.
Strong problem-solving, decision making, conflict resolution and strategic thinking skills Team player, respectful of others and always demonstrating integrity, strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. ability to work under pressure and manage multiple work streams, highly resourceful and intrinsically motived to contribute, an eye for detail, a collaborative nature, and the ability to exercise independent judgment. You should, the ability to deliver reports and presentations, facilitate training, and have exceptional presentation, communication and writing skills.
