ECN Coordinator COE

What you will do?

Responsible to develop and maintain material list information for all products manufactured at Durango plant. Responsible to maintain the complete master item with the correct parameters for the appropriate use of SAP system. Able to coordinate the correct and appropriate generation of all views / parameters of all existing part numbers in Durango plant with the different plant areas. Responsible to coordinate all product changes in all plant areas and ensuring that the effective dates in SAP system are correct for ensure the effective implementation of products.

How you will do it?

• Coordinate product changes meeting
• Coordination and follow-up of engineering changes in EC home global system
• Responsible about effectivity dates in SAP system, when the changes have passed by all implementation phases and the dates was defined by all involved departments.
• Send notifications by email to all users about all different engineering changes, each time that been required realized some activity related to an engineering change
• Follow- up and coordination to deviations with the corresponding plant areas.
• Generation of ECNs weekly reports for the product engineer’s follow-up.
• Responsible of having weekly sessions with product engineers to ensure reach with ECNs close targets according to the stablished metrics.
• Update and generate Engineering procedures to ensure be accordance with ISO 9001.
• Responsible to create ECR/ECN report for follow-up with global engineering, and the used time.
• Responsible to give follow-up to all engineering metrics.
• Daily relationship with support Departments.
• Ensure that the cost reduction initiatives are implemented at the factory.
• Support continues improvement initiatives within the production and other departments.
• Report all injuries, almost accidents, unsafe acts / conditions and occupational health problems and take the necessary corrective measures, as well as support in the investigation.
• Support and comply with all security practices, systems and rules established in the company.
• Keep the areas clean and tidy, maintaining the 5’s standards.
• Properly use Personal Protective Equipment.
• Review and participate in risk assessments ensuring the level of alertness in their areas when working with materials and chemicals.
• Complies with completion of audit schedules (5s, eLap, etc).

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor (Industrial) degree.
• English > 80 %.
• Minimum of two years of experience in statistics, continues improvement, negotiations, samples, etc.
• Professional recognition and industry networking are desired and speak to large audiences.
• Able to lead and direct diverse teams, organizational leadership, approach to results.
• Able to travel up to 30% of the time, strong personal computer working capabilities in SAP system, Office Suite, etc.
• Knowledge is ISO9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001 standards, production control, Ergonomic, Poka yoke and core tools systems.
• Problem solution methodology, innovation, Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, SMED, KANBAN, VSM, 5’s.
• Innovative and creative problem solver focused in continuous improvement, Analytical skills on important and critical issues, Demonstrated success on the project using innovation, adaptability, team work, communication and self-motivation.
