What do you get to do in this position:
- Monitoring the Environmental, Health, Safety regulations and ensure all legal requirements in the site.
- Actively participate to the implementation of Management System (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, others).
- Ensure training and execution of Management of Change Process in the current and new projects.
- Active participation in Schneider programs SPS (Schneider Production System), corporate reports, ergonomic etc.)
- Assist in maintaining appropriate metrics, evaluating data trending, and providing data input to management reviews, with a view to continuous improvement and enhancement of EHS performance.
- Oversees development, planning, and implementation of environmental, health, safety policies and procedures (Environmental, health and Safety)
- Develops and oversees company training programs for employees in areas such as compliance training.
- Analyze and solve problems for production, safety, logistics, engineering, materials, and quality departments.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates for the EHS personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Attend external compliance audits (internal or external).
- Validate corrective and preventive actions derived from Incident Investigations.
- Oversees the preparation of contracts for waste disposal firms and monitors waste handling.
- Identify and intervene to correct unsafe and off standard conditions.
- Identify, report any injury or potential injury and any potential environmental impact, and create action plans to avoid recurrence.
- Leads the new projects

You fit the following Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Chemical, Environmental, Safety engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years of experience as EHS Coordinator or related.
- Strong leadership (experience with direct reports)
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing /electrical company (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required in both Spanish and English.
- Desirable experience with IMSS (disabilities, work accidents) and STPS relations (preferred)
- Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of environment, health and safety guidelines and regulations; a good working knowledge of health and safety engineering, and a highly refined understanding of the issues related to manufacturing and delivery/service environments.
