Over jou en deze Functie

We zijn op zoek naar een Senior EH&S Technician die ons Environment Health en Safety (EH&S) team komt versterken voor ondersteuning van de polyethyleen plants in Terneuzen, Nederland.

Als Senior EH&S Technician deel je samen met de EH&S organisatie de verantwoordelijkheid voor de implementatie van het EH&S managementsysteem (werkprocessen en procedures) om zo te kunnen voldoen aan de doelstellingen van de site en/of de business en om de milieuvergunning (‘license to operate’) te kunnen behouden.

Je levert praktische ondersteunende activiteiten op het gebied van Environmental, Industrial Hygiene en Health & Safety voor een of meerdere plants of afdelingen.

De invulling van deze rol is in lijn met de inhoud van de MVK opleiding.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Je ondersteunt, geeft training en corrigeert individuen en teams op het gebied van EH&S wet- en regelgeving en Dow interne EH&S regels zoals b.v. vastgelegd in het management system en de Dow EH&S Eisen.
• Je doet op regelmatige basis inspectie van werkzaamheden op de afdeling
• Je bent een goede communicator die een hoog acceptatie niveau heeft in het handhaven van de EH&S principes op de werkvloer.
• Je werkt klantgericht en speelt in op de behoeften van de afdeling.
• Je hebt kennis van de plant/afdelingsprocessen en de specifieke relaties met EH&S eisen.
• Je hebt kennis / kunde om via Internet/Intranet of andere media specifieke kennis over EH&S deelgebieden op te zoeken. Dit geldt voor zowel Dow interne informatie als externe informatiebronnen.
• Je bent in staat om risico inschattingen te maken, blootstellingsmeetprogramma’s op te stellen en uit te voeren en over de resultaten, conclusies en aanbevelingen te rapporteren

Kwalificaties

• Je hebt minimaal een MBO-4 diploma, bij voorkeur in chemie, procestechniek, EH&S of een gerelateerde richting.
• Je hebt relevante werkervaring binnen procesindustrie en/of veiligheid.
• Je bent vloeiend in de Nederlandse taal (spraak en geschrift) en je hebt goede kennis van de Engelse taal.
• Je hebt een MVK-opleiding afgerond of je bent bereid om deze opleiding te volgen.
