Electrical Production Engineer Specialist

As a Production Engineering Specialist, you will drive improvements in production of Robotics and Automation Business in our site on Mexico. In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

This position reports to

Production Supervisor

Your responsibilities

• Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.
• Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements
• Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.
• Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.
• Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.

Your background

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Automotive Systems Engineering or related.
• 1-2 years of experience working with similar responsibilities.
• Experience in field installations and/or in the development of Automation or Robotics projects.
• Knowledge of electrical design and use of electrical design software.
• Valid Passport is desirable.
• Proficient with ePlan is desirable.
• Advanced English level.
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
