DirecciónThe summer intern position is part of the Electronic Fabrication group within the Electronic Solution organization. The summer intern will be part of an engineering group that is responsible for electronic components and assemblies fabrication as test stands, arneses, among others.
The ideal candidate is a mid-level engineer student who utilizes their expertise and knowledge on technical projects, discovering innovative, cost-efficient ways to enhance products, techniques, procedures, and technologies.
The summer intern candidate is responsible for supporting engineering by planning, coordinating, and performing simple and medium-complexity projects while following company procedures. This includes maintaining the backlog, continuously improving, customer satisfaction, scheduling, working budget, and safety performance, to drive customer satisfaction and cost goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- General support to engineering department on project execution (Project Management).
- Analyze drawing to define technical needs like tooling, special processes and parts list to create a Bill of Materials for procure and fabrication follow up.
- Provide support to Electronic Fabrication shop by driving material savings initiatives, process improvements and customer experience.
- Ensure that the project is correctly planned and managed during execution.
- Establish and execute detailed plans to ensure that risks are mitigated, and opportunities are realized.
- Provides technical information to customs in order to acquire classifications for import/export of the material and finished goods.
Skills/Qualifications
- Undergraduate student in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic engineering, or related fields. Must graduate after December 2024.
- Drawing interpretation
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Intermediate Level English (written and spoken)
- Strong communications skills
- Team skills
- Ability to work with some guidance-oversight, communicate requirements and recommendations accordingly.
