DirecciónBasic Qulifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a closely related engineering degree from an ABET accredited university.
- A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in the automotive field, preferably product development/powertrain
- Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills, and demonstrated problem solving ability.
- Understanding of engineering theory and principles of design.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to understand and support resolution of launch issues in a plant environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in engineering from an ABET accredited University.
- 4+ years of related engineering experience.
- 2+ years of Design Release experience.
- Understanding of Electric Motor or EDM operation, design, manufacturing, testing & development
- Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
- Knowledge of drawing GD&T and dimensional tolerance stack-ups.
- Experience with Statement of Requirements, DFMEA, and Design Reviews.
- Working knowledge of problem resolution and tracking systems and engineering change management processes.
- Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Certification.
