The User Management Practitioner will beresponsible for efficiently handling user provisioning, de-provisioning, andaccess management processes. This role requires a strong attention to detail,excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively withcross-functional teams.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
User AccountManagement:
- Manage theentire lifecycle of user accounts, including user creation, modification, anddeactivation.
- Ensureaccurate and up-to-date user information is maintained in the user managementsystems.
- Collaboratewith various stakeholders to gather user access requirements and implementappropriate access controls.
AccessManagement:
- Administeruser access rights and permissions to various systems, applications, and data.
- Conductregular access reviews to ensure compliance with security policies andregulatory requirements.
- Investigateand resolve access-related issues, providing timely support to end-users.
UserProvisioning and de-provisioning:
- Efficientlyhandle user onboarding and offboarding processes, including the provisioningand de-provisioningof user accounts, access rights, and resources.
- Work closelywith HR and other departments to ensure the timely and accurate provisioning ofaccess for new employees, as well as the prompt removal of access for departingemployees.
Documentationand Reporting:
- Maintaindetailed documentation of user management processes, procedures, and standards.
- Generateregular reports on user access, provisioning status, and compliance metrics.
- Analyze dataand identify areas for improvement in user management practices.
User Supportand Training:
- Provide usersupport and guidance related to user accounts, access controls, andself-service tools.
- Conducttraining sessions and create user guides to educate employees on usermanagement best practices.
Security andCompliance:
- Collaboratewith the security team to ensure user access controls align with securitypolicies and industry best practices.
- Assist ininternal and external audits related to user management and access controls.
- Stay updated on the latestsecurity trends and technologies to proactively address emerging threats.
TECHNICALSKILLS
- 2+years of IT experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Technologies.
- Knowledge of Powershell.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- ITSM foundation training is required.
PROFESSIONALSKILLS
- Provenexperience in user management, access controls, or identity and accessmanagement (IAM) roles.
- Familiaritywith user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access management tools.
- Strongunderstanding of security principles and industry best practices.
- Knowledgeof regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
- Excellentproblem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot andresolve access-related issues.
- Exceptionalattention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills to work effectively withcross-functional teams.
