What awaits you?
• As an Inventory Expert, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial reporting of plant materials. This will involve collaborating closely with relevant departments and inventory planning teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting inventory cycle counting, verification, and audits to maintain the highest standards of financial accountability.
• Your expertise will extend to managing scrap administration, including obsolescence calculations, in collaboration with technological experts. You will validate material standard costs, vehicles valuation, and physical monitoring to ensure financial accuracy. Furthermore, you will analyze purchase price variances and implement corrective actions to optimize procurement costs. Your commitment to efficiency will be evident as you control material consumptions and inventory adjustments to minimize waste and ensure the efficient utilization of resources.
• Your unwavering dedication to accuracy and efficiency will be further demonstrated as you implement and manage internal use vehicles control procedures to track and optimize vehicle usage. You will spearhead the successful implementation of projects within your assigned area of accountability (e.g., material, inventory). Your proactive approach will be evident as you address ad-hoc requests for financial data and provide timely insights into the impact on Plant San Luis Potosi. Finally, you will analyze and report to senior management on key financial results, both internal and external, ensuring that informed decisions are made to drive the financial success of the organization.
What should you bring along?
• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years in Stock Accounting, demonstrating expertise in internal control structures, internal and external audit procedures, and accounting standards.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Inventory accounting processes and the related IT landscape.
• Fluent English.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of production processes.
