- Provide timely and accurate financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Advise on business initiatives or investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the company's finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee all operations of the finance department in Mexico, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company's budgets, forecasts and Long Term Plan.
- Manage cash flow by monitoring bank transactions and maintaining AR and AP as current
- Coordinate with accounting team on the timely and accurate preparation of the monthly / yearly financial statements packages.
- Execute tax obligations
- Maintain internal control processes and standards and ensure its compliance
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, advance degrees are preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of finance experience; preferably in manufacturing with experience in grain, malting or brewing industries a plus.
- Experience in a management position in a corporate environment.
- Exposure to international business environment is highly preferred.
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
